Deb Torguson

1972 - BFA Painting and Printmaking at VCU

1981 (to the present) - Founded Collectors Portraits - commissioned Pastel/Oil Portraits and Fine Art Photography

Art Director; Illustrator for Richmond LifeStyle Magazine and Richmond Magazine; Court Room Illustrator for Channel 12 RVA; Art Teacher

I also worked over 35 years in Graphics in the Printing and Packaging Industry. After retirement from the corporate GRAPHICS world, I’m finally ending my long hiatus and will be returning to my FINE ART roots.

I’ve always managed to have a photographic DIGITAL and DESIGN studio using my large format printer to print my own Giclée prints in a “clean” controlled temperature environment; however, I was always in need of a “dirty” studio to create my traditional Pastel Portraits and Oil paintings.
